Video displays a black screen

Have used this app for a long while and loved it. About a month ago, the live newscast video turned blank. I see the initial ad but when the audio on the newscast begins, the visual goes blank. Ive tried restarting the app, pressing the reset button (sometimes that works), Ive even uninstalled and reinstalled. Please provide a solution! Love the app, but need the video. I dont have this issue in any other apps so believe its the app, not my phone. (Iphone 5). Thank you!
